Single Cup Coffee Brewers
Coffee Brewed Only for You

Single cup coffee brewers changed the way coffee lovers drank coffee. Single cup coffee brewers were the answers to what coffee lovers have been praying for.

With these brewers, coffee lovers can enjoy freshly brewed coffee made especially for them, and brewed in the instant they request for it.

No more waiting for the entire brewing process of several cups of coffee. With single cup coffee machines, you can have your coffee brewed when you need it and get a freshly brewed coffee every single time.

These machines are quite advantageous. You won’t be wasting coffee and you won’t have to settle for re-warmed coffee that has been waiting in the carafe for a long time.

These coffee machines are also easy to use because they keep spills and mess away. This is definitely a must-have for every coffee lover.

How Single Cup Coffee Brewers Work

With the industry booming, several different coffee maker brands have come out with their own versions of the single cup coffee brewers.

The two top types of single cup brewers are made by Braun and Keurig. Another brand, Senseo, also follows closely behind. When you have a single cup coffee maker, you will also need sealed packs of coffee or coffee pods that are compatible with your brewer.

This can be a disadvantage, though, since with single cup coffee machines, you will be limited to what coffee pods or packs are readily available. But still, there are plenty of flavors to choose from.

Once you’re ready for brewing, all you have to do is place the pod or coffee pack in the coffee machine, put in some water, and start brewing with a touch of a button.

Most brewers usually just take a few minutes to brew you a great cup of fresh, newly-brewed coffee.

Keurig Single Cup Coffee Makers and the K-Cups

Keurig offers an entire line of single cup coffee brewers that are being marketed extensively. The greatly popular line of single cup machines includes the Keurig B40, B60, and the B70.

The Keurig B40 is available at $99.95 and offers two brew sizes, a removable water reservoir, water level indicator, and auto shut-off. The B60 is a bit more expensive at $149.95, but offers three brewing sizes and an LCD display, along with some added features.

The B70 is the most popular by far, at $199.95, with four brewing sizes, a great new style, a larger water reservoir, and a special brewing system for a better coffee flavor.

Keurig also offers the Breville Keurig Brewer, a stainless steel machine with adjustable brew temperature, four brewing sizes, and a water filtration system. To use these machines, you need to buy Keurig’s own special K-Cups.

K-Cups come in many different types of coffee and teas. You can enjoy coffee from brands such as Caribou, Diedrich, Gloria Jean’s, Green Mountain Coffee, Van Houtte, and many others when you buy the K-Cups.

The K-Cups also come in tea selections, including Bigelow tea and Twinings tea. There are also hot cocoa K-Cups for your ultimate beverage enjoyment.

Braun Tassimo and the T-discs

To compete with the solid partnership of Keurig coffee brewers and K-Cups, Braun also produces its own line of single cup coffee brewers, but with a more innovative touch.

Braun offers the famed Braun Tassimo, a special coffee brewing system programmed to brew single cups of coffee, espresso, tea, hot chocolate, and many other coffee beverages, depending on the Tassimo discs, or T-discs, you use.

The T-discs work like Keurig’s K-Cups. There are two basic types of the Tassimo model, a $169.99 model that comes with a water filter and another $129.99 model with a smaller water reservoir but has no water filter.

These T-discs, or pods, are proprietary technologies by Braun. You only have to insert the discs into your Braun Tassimo single cup brewers and the brewers will read the bar code on the discs, then produce your coffee based on the instructions programmed on the T-discs.

You can enjoy top coffee and tea brands such as Maxwell coffee and Twinings tea, and a long list of more brands, with the T-discs. These ultra-convenient single cup coffee brewers sure enhance your coffee experience.
